Happy Halloween to all.
Just a little end-of-month sewing. Too light-weight for now but I'll wear these in the spring.
Cutting Line Designs Pure & Simple shell, plus one-seams in tapered style.
Dark navy linen with a touch of sashiko
Next up? Coat? Jacket? Shirt? Pants? Small gifts? We'll see.
Great trim. You are better than me. I couldn't put it away without wearing it at least once!!
ReplyDeleteLove the binding and hand stitching. You'll get lots of wear from these!
ReplyDeletelove these and the hand stitching -enjoy wearing them in the spring
ReplyDeleteThe stitched trim looks great! You'll be wishing for spring - or a mid-winter beach trip!
ReplyDeleteWell done!
yummy...did you machine stitch the binding and then sashiko over?
ReplyDeleteHi, Mary,
DeleteThanks!
Yes, I machine stitched first, then applied sashiko over it. Kind of an after thought.
This ensemble is so chic! I really love the little surprise of the contrast bias inside the neckline :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful minimalism Martha. It's simple and elegant. I'll bet you can wear your TMA jacket over these.
